Mundo Pemón
VR experience
This virtual reality experience, made in collaboration with the organization Eposak, tells the stories of the Pemon people of Canaima, Venezuela. This place holds some of the country's most recognized natural symbols, like the Angels waterfall and Mount Roraima. This place has great significance for many nationals, yet little is known about the original people who live there.
This project aims to teach Venezuelans about Pemon legends and mythology in an entertaining way to spark an interest in learning more about their indigenous cultural heritage.
Mundo Pemón was selected among outstanding graduate projects to be exhibited at Dutch Design Week 2024. Most recently, it was featured at the Solothurn Film Festival 2025 as part of the section Andere Erzählformen.
