This group project involved the redesign of the Apothekergärtli Plaza, located in the Ufschötti Park in Lucerne, Switzerland. Research revealed that the park lacked playground areas, and the plaza had little use, especially at night, which led to the idea of designing a playground that could be used at different times of the day.

During the day, the site features a playground area with activities for families with small children. At nightfall, the playground transforms into light sculptures, and the park comes alive with interactive light shows and a game zone for kids and adults young at heart.

The design emphasized the plaza's original reticulated layout and aligned it with the concept of arcade games, resulting in a pixelated, gamified plaza.
